Questions

Frequently asked

What is a solar efficiency audit?

An in-depth evaluation of your solar system's performance. It reviews the panels, analyzes inverter performance, inspects electrical connections and assesses shade from trees or structures.

Why get an audit if my system still works?

A system can run and still underproduce. An audit catches problems early, before they become costly repairs or premature replacement, and makes sure you're getting the savings you paid for.

What happens during the audit?

We start with a consultation about your system and concerns, inspect the panels, inverter, wiring and mounts on site, compare actual output to what your system should produce, and give you a report with prioritized findings.

What does it cost?

A SolarFIX Solar Assessment is $150 and finds what's holding your system back. If you want a full written report on the system's condition, the Solar Inspection Report is $295.

Can shade really hurt my output?

Yes. Trees and nearby structures can cut into your energy harvest. The shade assessment identifies what's blocking sunlight so you can decide what to do about it.

What happens after the report?

We walk you through repair, adjustment or upgrade options. You decide what to do, and SolarFIX can handle the work if you want us to.

Do you audit systems you didn't install?

Yes. SolarFIX services systems from any installer across the Phoenix metro.

Not sure where to start?

A Solar Assessment is the easiest first step. For $150, a SolarFIX technician finds what's draining your system's output and explains your options.
